GrOOfbOOgalOO is an instrumental quartet formed in 2009 aiming to promote a music style that mixes Boogaloo and Brazilian rhythms.

   Taking its roots from various musical trends that began in the 40's and 60's by African-Americans, immigrants, and Latino descendants in the United States, Boogaloo is the perfect combination of many Latin styles such as Cuban Montuno, Guaguanco, Guajira, Guaracha and Mambo, as well as R&B, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk and Drum and Bass.

   Groofboogaloo, inspired by the intensity of this unique sound, adds a more than special flavor of the rich and respected Brazilian Music.
